Be yourself, Nobody's the same by fear-the-brilliance Be yourself, Nobody's the same by fear-the-brilliance
Be yourself. If everyone was the same it would be boring.

I get weird stares for wearing all black baggy clothes and no makeup. At least I don't look like a clone of a 1D member or a plastic doll whose clothes look like they're been painted on :stare: Not that I don't mind that look or want to tell people how to dress, but really, almost everyone around me seems to look like that.
Seriously, what happened to being different? You don't have to judge people just because the popular people do, you have your own mind for goodness' sake, stop being sheep Facepalm
My mother tells me how, when she was my age, people liked being different, but now most of the 12-19 year olds I see look like clones of eachother, and the sad part is, it seems people dress like that just so they don't get bullied for being different.

Yup yup yup. I'm a super hyper person who loves anime. Almost ALL the kids at church are not super hyper people who love anime.

No, it's not normal.

There are all sorts of folk at my school, and it's unusual for me to not be asked "What's anime/manga?"

(Which is why no one cares about the anime club.:( Well, at least the chess club and debate team can relate...)

I must live in a messed up place, then.

Every single kid I know is either an "anime artist" who just makes the eyes OMGSOKAWAIIDESU or manga psychopath.
